Hi, I just had a visit with an old old friend from my early life in Pecos. His name is Tommy Beauchamp and he lived right next door when we were growing up. We naturally ended up mentioning the wonderful chili rellenos at Ben's Spanish Inn. We have both tried to duplicate this wonderful food and have tried Mexican Restaurants all over and never found anything to compare. Does anyone have a recipe?? Thanks, Tom Pruett

I went to the Enterprise website to get some information and noticed Pecos Gab. What a great idea! Kudos to whomever came up with the idea. Since I left Pecos at the end of my freshman year, I have lost contact with lots of friends. I would like to reconnect. As one gets older, you realize how important those friendships really were. Hopefully, someon knows where Shannon Banks, April Castillo, Elizabeth Fierro, etc. are and can tell them to get hold of me. They can reach me at this e-mail address. I must agree with a previous Gabber that the East Coast definitely does not know Mexican food, especially Upstate New York. If I want good Mexican food (or some other type of ethnic food), I have to cook it myself. I have a husband whose palate is very picky and will eat ethnic foods only if I cook it. I guess it's a compliment, but it's also a pain in the butt. Hope to hear from my friends soon. God bless, peace and love to all. Chastidy (Armendariz) Spinicci.

I am trying to find a friend of my brothers. His name is Jack Osborn. My brother,Harvey (Buzzy) Austin, was friends with Jack from jr. high until he went into the army in 1957. In 1955 we were living on 4th street, a block east of the old Camp hospital. There were 8 or9 children in Jack's family. He had a brother John and Dan and also twin brothers. The twins may have been younger than Jack but the others were older. My brother saw Jack in 1966-67 in Waco but lost track of him after that.
