Writer returns to first love, features and columns!
And compiles them into books for sale through www.amazon.com. She has included memoirs of her family at Flomot, Texas, her husband's family at Quitaque, their married life in Pecos, their two children, five grandchildren and three great-grands with a fourth on the way.

Houston is the name of her latest great-grandchild, born December 2005. He is named for her father, a bronc buster turned farmer. Jasmine and Cieara compete for her attention.

McCracken's 35th anniversary with the Enterprise was Jan. 14, 2007, two weeks before her 72nd birthday. She joined the Enterprise staff in 1972 as a writer and family page editor. She has worn every hat in the editorial department, "retiring" to the position of business manager in 1999. She returned to writing in January, 2008.

She created this website in 1996 and helps maintain it in her spare time.
