The bride is the daughter of Ismael and Gloria Valeriano of Pecos and a
1997 graduate of Pecos High School.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Pecos High School and is currently a
member of the Army. His parents are Manuel and Lily Villanueva of Pecos.Maid of honor was Dorisa Talamantez and best man was Joey Talamantez.
Calanchi was cited for outstanding service while assigned at Marine
Corps Recruiting Station, Dallas.
Calanchi was awarded a Meritorious Mast by his commanding officer as
official recognition for superior individual performance. The award was
issued in the form of a bulletin published throughout the command, and a
copy was entered in Calanchi's permanent service records.
The 1983 graduate of Pecos High School of Pecos, joined the Marine Corps
in September 1986.
