Zubeldia selected for NYC trip
Derek Zubeldia, a senior at Texas Tech University is one of 10
students that has been selected by the Finance Association Department
to attend a student business trip in New York City this month.
While in New York City, Zubeldia will be meeting with the Chairman
of the New York Federal Reserves Bank and will also experience trading
on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
He will also be appearing on Fox and Friends a Fox News Channel
broadcast to discuss ongoing financial negotiations.
Also, Zubeldia will be attending a financial conference with
executives from our Nation's Central Banks and representatives from the
Big Five accounting firms. In addition, Zubeldia and his colleagues
will be making an appearance and representing Texas Tech University on
the Late Show with David Letterman.
Derek Zubeldia is a senior at Texas Tech University and is majoring
in Finance.
After graduation he plans to pursue a career in law and investment
banking.
He is the son of Sergio and Anita Zubeldia of Pecos.
Paternal grandmother is Herminia Z. Casillas and maternal
grandfather is B.R. Rodriguez, all of Pecos.
