Courtney Lynn Clark, of Pecos and Christopher Cannon Stone of Stanton, were united in marriage at 7 p.m., on Aug. 23, at Greentree Country Club in Midland. Mr. Tommy Hursh of Stanton officiated the ceremony.

The wedding was held outside under the rock veranda right off the golf course. Following the wedding, a reception was held inside the ballroom with food and music for entertainment.

Escorted by her father and presented for marriage by her parents, the bride wore an original gown designed by Maggie Sottero constructed of pure satin. The "Primavera" gown with button back featured a romantic recessed neckline and beaded Tulle lace laid over Matte Satin. The strapless bodice was adorned with a floral beaded design including Swarovski crystals, pearls, sequins and sead beads. Beaded bands accented neckline and hem. The court length train fell from the ballgown waist onto the A-Lined/Flared skirt. The two layered elbow length veil was also adorned with Swarovski crystals, pearls, sequins and sead beads.

Courtney Bowman of Fort Stockton, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Kristin Buchholz of Bardwell, friend of the bride, served as bridesmaid. The bridesmaids wore gowns designed by Haley Nicole. The L'Amour Satin A-Line dresses had delicately beaded trim at wide band at the waist. They were cranberry color that featured straps and a square neckline.

Walton Stone of Hamilton, brother of the groom, served as best man. John Clark of Pecos, brother of the bride, served as groomsman. Ushers were Chuck Buchholz of Bardwell, Frank Rios of Midland and Kevin Usener of Fredericksburg.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Pecos High School and a 2003 graduate of Howard College having received her associate degree in business marketing. She is currently employed with Cotton, Bledsoe, Tighe and Dawson PC. in Midland.

The groom is a 1990 graduate of Grady High School and a 1992 graduate of Howard College with an associate degree in Agriculture. He is self-employed and farms in Martin County.
