Pecos students receive degrees from OC
Several students were honored during a graduation ceremony held Aug.
8, at Deaderick Hall, Odessa College, for individuals who attended the Odessa
College, School of Vocational Nursing, Monahans Extension.
Students from Pecos who graduated include Shirley A. Abila, who was named
to the National Dean's List, "A" Honor Roll, received Odessa College Student
Recognition and was the President of the Student Government.
Also from Pecos were Corina D. Florez, Gerardo S. Gutierrez and Raymond
N. Rayos, who all were named to the "B" Honor Roll.
Rev. Jimmy Hull did the invocation and the welcome was presented by Elizabeth
Hodges.
Student Government members included: Shirley A. Abila, president; Amy
S. Acosta, vice-president; Larissa M. Pittman, treasurer and Crystal R.
Dominguez, class representative.
Other graduates were: Amy S. Acosta, Lakrisha R. Bean, Keitha R. Brown,
Crystal R. Dominguez, Tomasa Gutierrez, Melissa S. May, Elva M. Pena, Barbara
A. Pipkin, Larissa M. Pittman, Jenoveva M. Romo and Stephanie G. Subia.
