Renz selected as officer of the month

Jesse Renz has been selected as Correctional Officer of the Month at the Reeves County Detention Center II for the month of November.

Officer Renz is a graduate of Midland High School and graduated from Sul Ross State University with a BBA in Accounting.

Officer Renz is a veteran of the United States Navy and was also employed in banking for eight years.

He began his employment with the Reeves County Detention Center on March 27, 2003.

"Officer Renz is very dedicated and displays his professionalism in all areas of the Custody Department," said RCDC Warden Rudy Franco.

Officer Renz has worked all pertinent posts and acts responsibly and willingly when required to assume other posts, according to Franco.

"He always accepts additional responsibilities without hesitation or question and accomplishes any assigned tasks that may be assigned," said Franco. "As a Correctional Officer, Renz understands the importance of accomplishing assigned tasks in minimal time, and does an exceptional job," he said.

Officer Renz maintains his responsibility in the highest respect and has always continued to take pride in his position with the Reeves County Detention Center, according to Franco.

"As a Correctional Officer Renz realizes that all Custody issues and situations can change in a moments notice; therefore he realizes that he must always remain alert and prepared for any changes," said Franco.

Officer Renz is highly motivated and displays high standards in his work performance, and is well-deserving of this honor, according to Franco.

"It is a pleasure to be associated with an individual such as Officer Renz, and we wish him continued success in his career with the Reeves County Detention Center," he said.
