The team of Everett and Kyle Parker placed first in the first flight of the Pecos Rotary Club’s annual Youth-Adult Golf Tournament, held over the weekend at the Reeves County Golf Course.

The 14th annual event was divided into five flights, and golfers were able to get in their rounds both days before rains hit the area. The Parkers shot rounds of 62-65-127 to win by six strokes over a trio of teams. A chip-off was held to decide the second and third place finishers, with Lance and Lauren Nutt of Kermit taking second place, and Tim and Jared Windham finishing third. Both teams shot 65-68-133 scores over 36 holes of play.

Also finishing with a 133 total to win the second flight was the team of Paul and Anthony Armendariz of Monahans. They shot rounds of 68 and 65 to win by one stroke over David Bradley and Joseph Tarin, who had a 69-65-134, while Chad Windham and Dante Griner were third, with a 68-69-137 total.

Shooting a 70-67-137 to win the third flight was the team of Robert and Bobby Flores, while Jason Abila and Katrina Hinojos beat out Eleanor Mason and Jennie Canon in a chip off for second. Abila and Hinojos shot a 71-73-144, while Mason and Canon shot 142s both days.

In the fourth flight, Brandon and R.J. Lozano took first place, with a pair of 75 rounds for a 150 score. They were one stroke up on Bradley and Brent Shaw, who shot a 75-76-151, while Juan and Rachel Santiago won a chip off for third, after finishing with a 77-75-152 total.
