Sul Ross presents theatre program
The Sul Ross State University theatre program will present the farce, "Footlight
Frenzy," Friday-Sunday, Oct. 8-10. Friday and Saturday performances will
be at 8 p.m. in the Studio Theatre, with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.
Sul Ross theatre major Liz Castillo, of Balmorhea, is directing the
play for her senior project. General admission is $4 adults and $1 children.
SRSU students with an ID card and high school students will pay $2. Faculty
and staff members with activity cards will pay $3.
Written by Ron House, Diz White, Alan Shearman and Bud Slocumb, "Footlight
Frenzy" offers a backstage view of people desperately trying to make it
through a show. A fog machine and strobe light will be in use.
"Footlight Frenzy" focuses on the Rye School for Unusual Children, which
is in need of funding. The faculty members bring in Tony Langdon, played
by Sul Ross student Victor Natera (Alpine), to write and direct a play.

Booster club to meet
The Pecos Athletic Booster Club will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 11, at
the Pecos High School Cafeteria.
