Alligood, Le Beouf wed in outdoor ceremony

Carrying a summer theme of sunflowers, Robin Alligood and Gilbert Le Beouf, Jr. were united in marriage in an outdoor ceremony in the home of the bride's parents on Aug. 14.

Performing the ceremony was Virgil Gage of Balmorhea.

Serving as matron of honor was the bride's sister-in-law, Summer Renshaw. Also serving as attendants were the bride's two daughters, AriAnna and Brittney Alligood.

Serving as best man was the groom's brother, Christopher Le Beouf.

She is the daughter of Butch and Marcia Renshaw and the granddaughter of Lillian "Jacque" and the late V.C. "Buck" Renshaw of Pecos.

She is also the granddaughter of Linnie Reznik and the late Frank Reznik of Carlsbad, N.M.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Le Beouf, Sr. of Kaplan, Louisiana.

The couple will make their home in Pecos.

Ramirez celebrates first birthday

Noah Samuel Ramirez celebrated his first birthday with a party held in his honor at the North Side Swimming Pool.

He is the son of Kimberly Orona and Jaime Ramirez.

Maternal grandparents are Lupita Orona and Raymundo Orona of Pecos.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Francisco Ramirez.

Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Armendariz and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Natividad.

Attending the party were his sister, Sydnie, cousins Brandon, John Paul Ornelas, his God parents Anna and Jerry Ornelas and his aunts and other cousins.

Casillas joins U.S. Army

Army Pvt. Jesus N. Casillas has arrived at Fort Knox, Ky., to complete basic combat training.

During the eight weeks of training, the soldier will receive instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history and traditions.

Casillas is the son of Brenda and Jesus Casillas of Pecos.

He is a 1999 graduate of Pecos High School.

Open House planned

Crockett Middle School will have an Open House at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7, in the school cafeteria.

All parents and members of the community are invited.
