Martinez named officer of month
Tito Martinez has been selected as Correctional Officer of the Month at
the Reeves County Detention Center for the month of August.
Martinez has been employed at the RCDC since July 30, 1998, as a correctional
officer.
Martinez is married to Joanna Martinez and is the proud father of one
child.
"He is self-motivated, dependable, trustworthy, reliable and a great
asset to the Custody Department as well as the institution," said RCDC
Warden Rudy Franco.
Officer Martinez' performance during the period covered by this recommendation
has been outstanding in all areas, according to Franco.
Officer Martinez has been assigned to all pertinent custodial posts.
As usual and as expected, he performed those duties in keeping with
outstanding standards of excellence, according to Franco.
"I would like to wish Mr. Martinez continued success in his career with
the Reeves County Detention Center. It is a pleasure to be associated with
an individual such as Tito who displays such professionalism," said Franco.
Open house planned at school
Bessie Haynes Elementary School will host an "Open House," at 7 p.m., Tuesday,
Aug. 31.
Everyone will meet in the school cafeteria for a brief presentation.
The principal will introduce the teachhers, present the campus school
report card from T.A. and after the brief presentaition, everyone can visit
the classroom and meet their child's teacher.
