Paz selected as officer of month
Alfredo Paz has been selected as Correctional Officer of the Month
for June at the Reeves County Detention Center.
Paz has been employed at the Reeves County Detention Center since Aug.
17, 1998 as a correctional officer.
Paz is married to Cynthia Paz and is the proud father of two children.
"He is a self-motivated individual and a great asset to the Custody
Department and the institution," said RCDC Warden Rudy Franco. "Officer
Paz's performance during the period covered by this recommendation has
been outstanding in all areas," he said.
Officer Paz has been assigned to all pertinent custodial posts. As usual
and as expected, he performed these duties in keeping with outstanding
standards of excellence, according to Franco.
"I would like to wish Mr. Paz continued success in his career with the
Reeves County Detention Center, it is a pleasure to be associated with
an individual such as Alfredo who displays such professionalism," Franco
said.
Garage sale planned
The Pecos High School Student Council will be having a garage sale, Saturday
Aug. 7.
