Host families sought
Host families are needed for international high school students for the
1999-2000 school year.
The students will arrive in early August and will stay with the host
family for one semester or until the end of the school year.
The host family will provide a bed, meals, as well as friendship, understanding
and a genuine desire to share the American way of life with a youngster
from overseas.
The students speak English, are covered by medical insurance and have
spending money for their personal expenses. The students are from over
10 different countries, including Germany, France, Japan, Brazil, Venezuela,
Spain, Poland, Czech Republic and Romania.
The SHARE! High School Exchange Program is sponsored by Educational
Resource Development Trust (ERDT).
Families are able to review student applications and select the student
they feel will best match their own interests.
