Spelling bee winner
Jessica Lam will be traveling to Odessa to compete in the
regional U.I.L. Spelling Bee on March 27. Lam won the local
Spelling Bee enabling her to compete at a higher level.
Salgado has second birthday
Justin Isaiah Salgado celebrated his second birthday with a
party held in his honor Saturday, at the Maxey Park. He was
born March 20, 1997.
Family and friends were on hand to celebrate the happy
occasion.
Theme for the event was "Winnie the Pooh."
Little Justin received a variety of different presents, but
his favorite was a toddler BMX bicycle, given to him by his
grandparents, Rene and Lorenza Salgado.
He is the son of Rene Salgado Jr. and Blanca Salgado of
Pecos.
His little brother is Joshua Rene Salgado who joined in the
festivities.
His maternal grandparents are Rudy and Modesta Inostroza of
Pecos.
Paternal grandprents are Rene Salgado Sr. and Lorenza
Salgado of Pecos.
