LifestyleTuesday, November 17, 19984-H competition held4-H Tri-County Playdays started in April and continued through August. 4-Her's competed in banels, poles, stakes and goat ribbon pulling or goat tying. Points were totaled at the end and prizes were awarded at a Horse Show Banquet held in Monahans in October. Pecos 4-Her's that competed are, Andrew Lopez, first place, sub jr.; Guthrie Long, fourth place, sub jr.; Heath Armstrong, fourth place, pee-wee; Conner Armstrong, participant, pee-wee; Dakota Long, participant, pee-wee; Amanda Armstrong, third place, jr.; Chris Armstrong, third place, sr. Thank you gift awardedLessa McNeese, field representative for American Cancer Society, for the Reeves-Loving Unit, Odessa, presents a special gift to Marie Cardenas, county extenstion agent and Nancy Ontiveros, Reeves County Hospital patient representative for a job well done in the recent heart walk held in Pecos. Both women did an outstanding job and were rewarded for their efforts.
