Felts family visits Taj Mahal

Colonel (US Air Force) Ernest E. Felts, his wife, Sharon,
and twin sons William and Travis recently visited the Taj
Mahal in Agra, India.

Colonel Felts is the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Seltz of Barstow
and is a 1972 graduate of Pecos High School and a 1976
graduate of Angelo State University.

He is currently assigned to the India National Defense
College, in New Delhi, India where he is studying
International Defense and Security.

He will complete this year long Senior Service School in
December 1998 and has been named to be the 14th Support
Group Commander of Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi.

Crider speaker at BPW meeting

Richard Crider, President of the Pecos Chamber of Commerce,
was guest spaker at the noon meeting of the Pecos Business
and Professional Women's Club, Inc., Oct. 27, at the Quality
Inn Restaurant.

Crider was introduced by Gretchen Luna, vice president. He
spoke on the various activities the chamber is involved in
throughout the year and asked for input that might help the
chamber better serve the community. BPW members were
encouraged to become invovled with chamber activities.

President Lucila Valenzuela presided over the meeting which
opened with the reading of the Collect led by Nell Maddux
and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Catherine Travland.
