| Daily Newspaper and Travel Guide for Pecos Country of West Texas Lifestyle October 30, 1998 Dominguez named officer of month Officer Josh Dominguez has been selected as Correctional Officer of the Month for October. Dominguez has been employed at the Reeves County Detention Center since May 4, 1998. His job consists of being responsible for the custody and control of all inmates within his duty station and is required to perform other duties which are critical to the security of the institution. On Sept. 19, he was assigned as a visiting room officer where he exhibited excellent correctional officer skills as he witnessed and reported a break-in at the commissary window, according to RCDC Warden Rudy Franco. "By his alertness, quick thinking and professional attitude the inmates were caught right after the incident and operations returned to normal," said Franco. Dominguez" is a very dedicated, responsible and hard working individual and has been an asset to the Reeves County Detention Center," said Franco.
