OC plans to offer business course
Odessa College is offering a series of realistic, practical, hands-on courses to help peopple start their own successful businesses and give them access to small business loan application assistance through the OC Business Incubator.
Because OC's Continuing Education was designated as a model site for the nationally accaimed program REAL (Rural Entrepreneurship Through Action Learning), students will have the opportunity to take the REAL classes beginning Sept. 14-Oct. 5, beginning with Small Business Management.
Other classes to be offered are Small Business Operations, Survival Skills for Small Business Start-Ups and How to Start Your Own Business.

Fine prints on display in Odessa
Original fine prints are on display at Odessa College through Sept. 16 in the Learning Resources Center's Options Gallery. The prints are from the University of Texas at Austin and are by faculty members Lee Chesney, Tom Drueker, Ken Hale, Tim High and Margie Simpson, as well as UT Austin graduate and undergraduate printmaking students.
The exhibit consists of 30 images and includes examples of traditional intagio, relief, lithographic and serigraphic prints, along with mixed media and photographic techniques.
