Out of town belles attend rodeo activities


Out of Town Belles, Tara Lease, Allison Ryan Moore and
Rebecca Elizabeth Spencer are joining in the West of the
Pecos Rodeo festivities. The three also participated in
Night in Old Pecos and were presented during the Golden
Girl/Little Miss Cantaloupe Pageant.

Tara Lease is the 17-year-old daughter of Bill Lease and
Terri Crager. Miss Lease is a senior at Memorial High in
Tulsa, Okla.

She is a member of the Pep Club, the French Club and F.C.A.
Her hobbies include swimming, golf, and modeling. She plans
on attending college when she graduates and then pursue a
modeling career.

Miss Lease attends the Methodist Church and her Pecos
relatives are Bill and Faye Lease, her sisters Kelly and
Rachael and one brother Christopher.

Allison Ryan Moore is the 17-year-old daughter of Hardin and
Terri Moore of Ft. Davis. She is a senior at Ft. Davis
Junior Senior High School and a Methodist.

She has been on the volleyball, tennis, basketball, and
track teams all three years of high school. She was named
All-District in basketball her junior year. She was fourth
in state in track her freshman year, third in state in track
her sophomore year, and named to the All-State Track Team
her sophomore year. She was also named All District and All
Region.

She has also been a cheerleader all three years of high
school, was in the band her freshman year, was named Who's
Who Among American High School Students all three years of
high school, is a member of N.J.HS., and N.H.S., Fellowship
of Christian Athletes and student council.

Miss Moore has been elected as football sweetheart and girls
state nominee this past year. She was also chosen as class
favorite her sophomore year.

Miss Moore was also elected class vice-president for the
past three years of high school and this year was elected as
student council senior treasurer.

She loves working with animals, riding horses, staying in
shape, playing sports, spending time with friends, going to
different places and just having fun.

Miss Moore said, "I'm excited about graduating and can't
wait to go to college."

Her Pecos relatives are her grandparents John and Doris
Moore and Travis and Bobbie Lattner. Also her uncle and aunt
Jerry and Pauline Moore and her cousin Katelyn Moore.

Rebecca Elizabeth Spencer is the 17-year-old daughter of
Frank and Becky Spencer of Pecos. She is a senior at
Incarnate Word High School in San Antonio, and is a Catholic.

She is an honor student and was chosen as All-District in
tennis in 1997 and 1998. She was also chosen All State
Tennis in 1997. She was selected Most Valuable Playeron the
tennis team in 1998. Miss Spencer was selected National
Award Winner by the United States Achievement Academy in
1998, selected to attend National Youth Leadership Forum in
1998.

Miss Spencer is a member of the student council, the
advisory council, campus ministry and the Spanish club.

Her hobbies include playing tennis, being with family and
friends, skiing, and talking on the telephone.

Her Pecos relative is her grandmother Elisa Tersero.
