Salcido celebrates first birthday
Bryce Cecilia Salcido celebrated her first birthday with a
party held in her honor at her home.
Family, including her big brother, Ryan, and friends were on
hand to help celebrate the special occasion.
Theme for the event was Barney.
She is the daughter of Bruce and Belinda Salcido of Pecos.
Illusionists to perform at UTPB
Masters of mystery, illusionists Kevin and Cindy Spencer,
bring "Theatre of Illusion," their award-winning magic show,
to The University of Texas of the Permian Basin Gymnasium at
7:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 31. The program is sponsored by
the UTPB Student Program Board.
The Spencers were named Performing Arts Entertainers of the
Year in 1995, 1996 and 1997. The duo is known for its
family-oriented show which combines high tech illusions with
original theatrical elements.
Recently, the Spencers received the Harry Chapin Award for
Contributions to Humnaity for their work with persons with
disabilities in learning magic as a therapeutic measure.
Tickets for the performance are $4 for adults and $2 for
children. UTPB students are admitted free. For more
