Guzman selected as Officer of the Month

Albert Guzman has been selected as Correctional Officer of the Month at RCDC II for December.

Guzman graduated in 2002 from Pecos High School, has one child and is a single parent.

He enjoys spending time with his little boy and family and enjoys fishing on weekends.

Guzman plans to start college.

Officer Guzman began his employment with Reeves County Detention Center on Sept. 23, 2003.

"Officer Guzman maintains high standards in his work ethics," said RCDC Warden Rudy Franco. "His dedication and professionalism to the operation of the Reeves County Detention Center has been outstanding," he said.

Mr. Guzman has worked all pertinent posts related to custody and willingly accepts additional responsibilities, according to Franco.

"He accomplishes all assigned tasks in minimal time, with exceptional results," said Franco.

As a Correctional Officer, Guzman's primary responsibility is to maintain security and control of the institution.

"He has continuously maintained his responsibility in the highest respect and has always taken pride in his position with the Reeves County Detention Center," said Franco.

Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize Officer Guzman as Correctional Officer of the Month.

"His high standards, quality of work performance, and self-motivation have earned him this honor," said Franco. "It is a pleasure to be associated with an individual such as Officer Guzman. We wish him continued success in his career with the Reeves County Detention Center," he said.
