Briones has worked all pertinent posts and willingly accepts additional duties, according to Franco.

He is currently a crewmember of the transportation department.

Briones's selection was based on his exceptional work ethics, reliability, and dedication to the institution, according to Franco.

"Mr. Briones has continuously executed this responsibility in the highest respect, and has always taken pride in his position with the Reeves County Detention Center," said Franco.

The Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize Officer Briones as Correctional Officer of the Month.
