Maritza Sandoval

Maritza Sandoval is the 17-year-old daughter of Maria and George Villanueva.

She is being sponsored by the Carrasco Law Firm, Linda Clark-Reeves County Treasurer and Colt Chevrolet GM.

Miss Sandoval is a member of the Lady Eagle volleyball team; Mighty Eagle Band; Mariachi Band; National Honor Society; 4-H Club; was named to Who's Who Among American High School Students; First Team All-District in volleyball (2002-2003); Junior Varsity softball (freshman year 2000-2001) and the Spanish Club (freshman year 2000-2001).

Following high school graduation, she is considering attending the University of Texas at San Antonio or Angelo State University to major in pre-medicine. "And hopefully become a pediatrician," said Miss Sandoval.

She enjoys paintballing, hanging out with her friends, spending time with her family and boyfriend and reading.

"I believe you can do all things through Christ and that my family and my education are two of my top priorities," said Miss Sandoval.
