Scott selected as Officer of Month
Eric Scott has been selected as Correctional Officer of the Month at
the Reeves County Detention Center 2 for the month of May.
He is a Pecos High School graduate and is married to Leticia and has
two children, John 11 and Maria 10.
Scott enjoys spending time with his family and spending time on his computer.
He began his employment with the Reeves County Detention Center in November
1998. Currently, he holds the title of Correctional Officer III, and is
assigned to Central Control.
Officer Scott maintains high standards in his work ethics, and his dedication
to the Reeves County Detention Center is outstanding, according to RCDC
Warden Rudy Franco.
"He accomplishes all assigned tasks in minimal time with exceptional
results," said Franco.
As a Correctional Officer, Scott's primary responsibility is to maintain
security and control of the institution.
"He has continuously executed this responsibility exceedingly well and
has always taken pride in his position," said Franco. "His understanding
of all posts pertaining to custody has been a tremendous asset in the training
of new staff members," he said.
The Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize Officer Scott
as Correctional Officer of the Month.
"His high standards, quality of work performance, and self-motivation
have earned him this honor," said Franco. "It is a pleasure to be associated
with an individual such as Mr. Scott, who exhibits such professionalism,"
"We wish him continued success in his career with the Reeves County Detention
Center," said Franco.
