Awbrey currently serving in Marines in Kuwait
Marine Lance Corporal Justin Awbrey is currently serving his country
in Kuwait. He is in the First Marine Division, 11th Battalion. Awbrey is
a Communication Expert.
He graduated from Andrews High School in 2000 with a 4.0 average.
Corporal Awbrey is the son of Doug and Tracy Awbrey of Andrews.
His grandparents are Roy and Reita Prewit of Pecos, and Iva McGee of
Alpine.
Summer classes offered at OC
Odessa College is proud to announce that though the college had to cut
its 2002-2003 budget to meet state mandates, it will still offer a full
slate of classes during the Summer I and II semesters.
Students can study a broad range of subjects, with more than 40 departments
offering 235 courses. Subjects include, but are certainly not limited to,
the sciences, art, automotive technology, computer networking and information,
cosmetology, culinary arts, diesel technology, English, foreign language,
government, music, nursing, mathematics, photography, history, psychology,
physical education, speech, welding and respiratory care.
Both day and night classes will be offered on campus, and courses will
be offered on the Internet, in Andrews, Monahans, Pecos and Seminole.
Advance registration for both summer semesters will be April 7-30 for
students currently enrolled at Odessa College.
Regular registration for Summer I will be May 27. Classes will begin
May 28.
Summer II registration will be July 7, and classes will begin the following
day.
