Ward awarded scholarship
Jennifer Ward was recently awarded the American Society of Civil Engineers
scholarship award.
Ward is presently a Junior attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
She is the daughter of Janelle and Paul Ward of Balmorhea.
Odessa College Careers Services will host a fair
The Odessa College Career Services Office will host its annual Odessa
College Career Fair 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, in the OC Sports Center.
The Career Fair provides an opportunity for OC students, area high school
students and the general public to meet area employers concerning Permian
Basin jobs. Also, representatives from various OC departments will be present
to discuss career options and college planning.
Employers from retailing, various service industries and government agencies
will be represented.

Enchilada plate sale set for Wednesday
An Ash Wednesday enchilada plate sale is set for 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
this Wednesday at the Santa Rosa Hall, 600 E. Third St.
Plates will be $4 and deliveries will be made on three or more orders.
Proceeds will benefit the Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Barstow.
