Amador, Rodriguez announce March wedding

Juanita Martinez and Arcenio Martinez, of Lubbock, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Christina Amador to Billy Joe Rodriguez.

The future groom is the son of Joe and Patsy Rodriguez, of Pecos, and 1998 graduate of Pecos High School. He attended South Plains College and is employed by Gale Insulation.

The bride to be is the daughter of the late Charles Amador, a 2000 graduate of Lockney High School and is currently employed with the Creative Learning Center.

The couple plan to wed at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 1, at the Lady of Guadalupe Cahtolic Church in Lubbock.

They plan to make San Antonio their home following a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas.

Rodriguez and Amador dedicate this wedding to Rodriguez' grandmother, Maria Mendoza and in memory of his grandfather, Amador Mendoza and the future bride's father, Charles Amador.
