Blackman, Grootenboer tell of wedding plans
Renee Armistead Blackman and Edward Gerrit Grootenboer announce their
engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride to be is the daughter of Cyrus and Marlene Coleman of Pecos
and the late William Bowles Armistead.
The future groom is the son of Gerrit Grootenboer of South Australia.
The couple will be married at 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 21, at the West Park
Baptist Church in Pecos.
The couple will reside in Pecos following the ceremony.
Reunion fundraiser planned
The class of 1993 is planning a fundraiser to help with their class reunion
scheduled for next year.
The group is sponsoring a Bake Sale at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 23, at
the Security State Bank Lobby.
Any member, parent, or relative of a member of the class of 1993 who would
like to participate or help in any way can bring their baked goods to the
Security State Lobby on Monday.
Donations are also being accepted.
