Matta finishes basic training in San Antonio
Carmen Marie Vasquez Matta completed her Basic Training at Lackland Air
Force Base in San Antonio.
Matta was Element Leader of Squadron 322 Flight 030. She is the daughter
of Sonny Matta and Sarah Vasquez and is a 2002 graduate of Pecos High School.
Airman Matta will be in Wichita Falls for training in the medical field.
Tuition plan enrollment period underway
Enrollment by parents for the Guaranteed Tuition Plan from the Texas Tomorrow
Funds has begun and will continue through May 23, 2003, Texas Comptroller
Carole Keeton Rylander said.
With the Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan, families can lock down their children's
college tuition and required fees at today's prices, and pay those expenses
in affordable installments before the children are ready for college.
The Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan may be used at public or private colleges
