Jensen selected officer of month
Robert Jensen has been selected as Correctional Officer of the Month at
the Reeves County Detention Center III for the month of September.
Jensen is married to Frances Jensen and a proud father of one daughter.
He is a retired Army Veteran having served for 17 years. He has a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in English from Sul Ross State University in December 1996.
Officer Jensen began his employment with the Reeves County Detention Center
on April 23, 2001.
He was promoted to Correctional Officer II in November 2002 and then promoted
to Correctional Officer III on June 19, 2002.
Jensen is a member of the Disturbance Control Team and also an active
member of the Employees Club. "His work ethics and attitude are of the highest
level and his dedication to the operation of the Reeves County Detention
Center is outstanding," said RCDC Warden Rudy Franco.
"Mr. Jensen has worked all pertinent posts and willingly accepts additional
duties," said Franco.
Mr. Jensen's selection was based on his exceptional work ethics, reliability,
and dedication to the institution, according to Franco.
As a Correctional Officer III, Mr. Jensen's primary responsibility is
to maintain security and control of the institution.
"Mr. Jensen has continuously executed this responsibility in the highest
respect, and has always taken pride in his position with the Reeves County
Detention Center," said Franco.
The Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize Officer Jensen
as Correctional Officer of the Month.
"His high standards, quality of work performance, and self-motivation
have earned him this honor," said Franco. "It is a pleasure to be associated
with an individual such as Mr. Jensen, who exhibits such professionalism
and dedication," he said.
"We wish him continued success in his career with the Reeves County
Detention Center," said Franco.
