ASU College Days program scheduled
Three "College Days" programs have been set by Angelo State University
to offer prospective students a chance to sample the ASU experience during
dates once in the fall and twice in the spring.
College Days programs are scheduled Nov. 16, Feb. 15 and April 5 on the
ASU campus. Programs will begin each of those Saturdays with check-in at
9:30 a.m. in the Houston Harte University Center at 1910 Rosemont.
Each session will include a welcome by ASU President James Hindman, a
tour of campus, a free lunch and an ASU Expo to allow prospective students
and their parents to visit with faculty from academic fields of interest
as well as representatives of numerous ASU officers and organizations.
In addition to the programs on academics and student life at ASU, participants
at each College Days session will have the opportunity to attend an ASU event.
On November 16, students and their families will receive complimentary admission
to the 2 p.m. ASU football game against Texas A&M-Kingsville in San Angelo
Stadium. On February 15 College Days participants will be provided free
tickets to Rambelle and Ram basketball games, also against Texas A&M
Kingsville. On April 5 College Days participants will be invited to attend
the ASU Jazz Festival.
