Tarin named Officer of Month
James Tarin is Correctional Officer of the Month for July at the Reeves
County Detention center.
Tarin is a 1969 graduate of Pecos High School and also holds an Associates
Degree from Odessa College in Applied Science. He is the proud father of
five children.
Officer Tarin began his employment with the Reeves County Detention Center
on Oct. 6, 1999. He currently holds the rank of Correctional Officer III
and is a veteran officer who has proven to be a consummate professional,
according to RCDC Warden Rudy Franco.
"His work ethics and attitude are at the highest level and he is a prime
example of the kind of officer employed at the Reeves County Detention Center,"
said Franco. "He accepts new challenges and assignments without hesitation
and completes his work without the need of supervision," he said.
"He has stepped forward as a veteran and helped to train and mentor the
new officers in the importance of possessing a keen eye for detail and the
importance of following security procedures," said Franco.
The Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize Correctional
Officer III James Tarin as Correctional Officer of the Month.
"His high standards, quality of work performance, and self-motivation
have earned him this honor," said Franco. "It is an honor to have an officer
of this caliber working for this organization," he said.
Franco said that they wish him continued success in his career with
the center.
