Lopez, Hernandez announce wedding plans
Christina Lopez and Joe Angel Hernandez III announce their engagement
and upcoming marriage on Sept. 1, at the First Lutheran Church in Fullerton,
Calif.
The bride to be is the daughter of Paul and Rebecca Lopez of Corona, Calif.
She is a 2000 graduate of Savannah High School and is employed at World Mark
Trend West Resort.
The future groom is the son of Joe Angel and Sylvia Hernandez of Fort
Stockton. He is a 1998 graduate of Fort Stockton High School. He is currently
a corporal with the United States Marine Corps, serving his second enlistment
with the 1st Marine Laison Element in Camp Pendelton, Calif.
Hernandez is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Acosta and Mr. and Mrs.
Armando Esparza of Pecos.
College sponsoring OC Experience
During July, Odessa College will host OC Experience, a combined registration
and orientation program for new students.
OC Experience provides students entering Odessa College a head start on
their college careers by offering campus tours, academic counseling, financial
aid information, and other assistance, plus the opportunity to register early
for fall classes.
Sessions for July and August will be 9 a.m. Monday, July 15; 2 p.m., Thursday,
July 18; 5 p.m. Monday, July 29; and 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1.
Students must register in advance for OC Experience. Deadlines to register
are Monday, July 8, for the July 15 session; Thursday, July 11, for the July
18 session; Monday, July 22, for the July 29 session; and Thursday, July
25, for the Aug. 1 session.
