She is being sponsored by Gibson True Value. Miss Paz is a member of the National Honor Society; Latin Club; One Act Play; participated in UIL Accounting and Journalism; was named to Who's Who Among American High School Students and was a National Honor Roll nominee. She plans to attend Texas Tech University following high school graduation, major in accounting and go on to optometry school to become an optometrist.
