Davis, McNutt announce June wedding plans

Jay D. and Jeanne Davis of Champaign, Illinois, are announcing  the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Ruth Davis, to Robert Blaine  McNutt, son of Robert and Priss McNutt of Pecos.

The future bride will graduate from Illinois State University in May with a B.S. degree in Applied Computer Science.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of Texas Tech University. He is a manager of AIC Documentation with Cisco Systems, Inc., and is employed in the Champaign, Illinois, office.

The wedding will be June 29 at Twin City Bible Church in Urbana, Illinois.

Aguilar named Employee of the Month

Silvia Aguilar has been recognized as Employee of the Month for the month of May at the Reeves County Detention Center II.

She is the proud parent of two children and enjoys dancing and reading.

Counselor Aguilar began her career with the Reeves County Detention Center on Nov. 30, 1998. She was promoted on Nov. 25, 2000, to her current position of Unit Counselor.

Aguilar is a veteran officer who has proven herself to be both extremely reliable and professional. "Her work ethics and attitude are of the highest level and she is a prime example of the officer's employed at the Reeves County Detention Center," said RCDC Warden Rudy Franco.

Counselor Aguilar has worked all pertinent posts and is dedicated to the operation of the Reeves County Detention Center, according to Franco. "She willingly accepts additional responsibilities and accomplishes all assigned tasks in minimal time with exceptional results," he said.

As a Unit Counselor, Aguilar's primary responsibility is to maintain security and control of the institution and attend to inmate needs. "Counselor Aguilar has always taken pride as an officer of the Reeves County Detention Center," said Franco.

The Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize Unit Counselor Silvia Aguilar as Employee of the Month.

"Her high standards, quality of work performance, and self-motivation have earned her this honor," said Franco. "We wish her continued success in her career with the Reeves County Detention Center," he said.
