Garcia, Samaguey exchange wedding vows
Antonio Francisco Garcia and Vickie Samaguey exchanged wedding vows at
2 p.m., on Oct. 14, at New Life Baptist Church.
Rev. Paul Garcia performed the ceremony, with Matt Williamson doing the
opening and closing songs.
The bride's sister, Vanessa Samaguey, served as the maid of honor, with
the groom's brother, Joseph Garcia as best man. Ring bearers were Michael
Vasquez and Rosillo Jurado.
A reception followed with a variety of food. A three-tiered cake of chocolate
and vanilla was enjoyed by all.
One hour of mariachi music was provided as a gift to the couple by the
groom's mother, Mary Garcia and his aunt, Janie N. Rodriguez. The music was
at the home of Esteban and Rufina Rayos, featuring Mariachi Perla.
The groom is employed by Texas A&M Agricultural Experiment Station
and the bride is a senior at Pecos High School.
Garage sale planned
A wide variety of inexpensive, second-hand items will be for sale from
8 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Santa Rosa Church Hall, 600 E. 3rd
.
Delicious food, drinks and games will also be available for everyone.
