Terry, Strain announce October wedding plans

Katherin Elizabeth Terry of Pecos and Johnny Lowell Strain of Midland, plan to marry Oct. 13, at the First Presbyterian Church in Pecos with Rev. Jim Miles officiating.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Tommy and Marquita Terry of Pecos. She is a 1999 graduate of Pecos High School and attended Angelo State University in San Angelo.

Her fiancé is the son of Edward and Rosemary Strain of Pecos. He is a 1998 graduate of Pecos High School and attended Odessa College and Angelo State University in San Angelo. He is employed by Red Simpson Inc.

The members of the wedding party include Catrina Lopez, Delissa Bradley, Stephanie Sherrin, Tessa Roller, Nancy Terry, Odis Allen, Mikey Roberts, Dallas Jarret, Edward Strain, TJ Terry, Christopher Terry, Amaris Strain, Mathew Bradley and Ashton McCormick.
 

Salcido celebrates first birthday

EJ Salcido Jr. celebrated his first birthday on Sept. 14, with a party held in his honor on Sept. 15, at Maxey Park.

Over 75 friends and family members attended the special occasion.

Proud parents are Eric and Ana Salcido.

Loving grandparents are Feliz and the late Alvaro Lujan and Mary Lou and Ernest Salcido.
 

OC art department sets exhibit

The Odessa College art department presents "Xerography," the first exhibit of the Student Art Space Series for 2001-2002.

The exhibit is on display at Student Art Space, Sedate Hall, Room 111, now until Thursday, Sept. 27.

"Xerography" features photocopy collage prints created by Art Appreciation class students.

The Student Art Space Series consists of eight exhibits opening the first week of each month through April and will include works by students and professionals.

Student Art Space, the OC student gallery, is open 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
