Little Leaguers split first games in 9-10 bracket
The Pecos 9-10 year old Little League All-Star team faces an elimination
game against North Concho at 5 p.m. this afternoon in San Angelo, after splitting
their two games over the weekend to start off the District 4 Tournament.
Pecos defeated North Concho on Saturday by a 9-1 final score, then lost
to San Angelo Western on Sunday by a score of 24-4. North Concho, meanwhile,
stayed alive with a 12-2 win over San Angelo Southern on Sunday, after Southern
had dropped its tournament opener on Friday against San Angelo Western, 19-8.
No other information was available on this past weekend's games. The winner
of tonight's game in the double-elimination tournament will move on to play
another elimination round game this coming weekend.
