Evans named to Dean's List
Kristen Evans from Pecos was named to the Dean's Honor List for the spring
2001 semester at South Plains College.
"These students have maintained a high standard of academic excellence
in their studies at South Plains College, and we are delighted to name them
to the college honor lists," said Dr. Gary McDaniel, SPC president.
Students named to the Dean's Honor List must maintain a minimum of 3.25
GPA while carrying at least 12 semester hours of college-level work with
no failing grades.
Evans is the daughter of Sue Evans of Pecos and Scott Evans of Fort Davis.
Service rifle match scheduled
A 50 Shot Service Rifle Match is scheduled for 8 a.m., Saturday, June
23, at the Pecos Rifle and Pistol Club Range.
The match is open to the public.
