Thanksgiving service planned
A Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 19,
at Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida, located at the corner of 3rd
and Elm Streets.
Everyone is invited to attend.
Gonzalez ends Basic Training
Margaret Prieto Gonzalez, WS Army Pvt., completed Basic Training on Sept.
28, in Fort Jackson, S.C.
She is the daughter of Rafael and Rachel Gonzalez.
Gonzalez is a 2000 graduate of Pecos High School and is currently stationed
in Ft. Leonardwood, Mo., then she will be going to be stationed in Germany
for four years.
